Events 2000:

One of the most enjoyable games of the season apart from local derby games is playing The Presidents X.I. Also know as old v's new, old gits against the youth. If the morning after players from both sides think twice about playing next year, the thoughts of the day before always make them think again. Wincanton Cricket Club's president is the well know Brian Hansford annoyed many a bowling attack, he leads his troops against the todays stars. The game is often remembered for the half time teas the best tea which everyone looks forward to every year.

This year the game will be played on the Sunday 6th of August. Play is due to start at 2 o'clock.
